He has played 53 NHL games overall (five goals, eight assists, 13 points, minus-22).

Even giving how bad those Toronto, Florida, and Buffalo teams were, that amounts to a -34 over 82 games. That's pretty bad.

Brennan is atrocious in his own end. I don't see him as an NHL option with mdz Streit gost on the roster and provorov on the door step. Even if Manning isn't retained. But I am however excited to see the run and gun phantoms team we appear to have built. I have always believed that winning in the ahl helps player development. And adding a bunch of high end ahl players to go with the prospects can't be a bad thing. Ready for kubel to score 30 this year

I must say...I did not wake up today thinking I would be graced with a reference to John Slaney...well done

I think they just keep signing small people to make Morin look bigger

Seems like the flyers are set with goalie and defensive prospects, look to another forward heavy draft next year as well. The future is only getting brighter

Not to jump to conclusions, but doesn't it seem like they're building depth in preparation for a trade? There doesn't seem to be enough ice-time to go around.

Phantoms will be pretty stacked. They're going to have to send a few defensemen to the ECHL with all the bodies.

So who is projected to be pushed to the ECHL?

With the continued absurd price for D, I wouldn't mind more high end D prospects honestly. If you can trade Larrson for Hall....

So Brennan, O'Neill, Morin, Hagg, Alt, Willcox and Sanheim... is Jesper Pettersson still on that list too, or is he still going to be down with the Royals?

I think at the beginning of the season there isnt such a thing as "too much depth"...that stuff works itself out. Really just have to hope it doesnt affect the prospects, like as bill mentioned Sanheims PP time. I do like how they arent "giving" time or role to anyone...players will have to earn it

Pettersson spent 40 some games with Reading last season. If there's no trades, I expect he'll be back there, along with maybe Willcox

I see Petterson and Lamarche with the Royals.

LHV d:
Morin
Alt
O'Neil
Brennan
Sanheim
Hagg
MacDonld
Wilcox

Flyers D:
Del Zotto
Gostisbehere
Streit
Schultz
Gudas
Provorov
Manning

All could change if Streit is moved. Maybe Alt becomes the 6/7 guy with Manning

All could

I would expect Pettersson, Lamarche and Willcox to be playing for that last spot in LV. Then again, I do not think it is a guarantee that Mark Alt gets sent down. People forget that he was a 2nd round pick. He is the most ready of last year's Phantoms D.

Any news on Schenn?

Still time to throw your cap hit guesses on here before he signs.

Royals, along with Lamarche. Willcox has inside track to final AHL spot.

I'm kind of surprised Alt hasn't gotten more of a shot. From what I've read he's been solid and he brings a righty shot
